On April 5th, Dr. Earl Suttle, motivational speaker and business consultant, will present “Embracing and Valuing Diversity” at 7 p.m. in the UTC Benwood Auditorium, located in the UTC Engineering, Computer Science and Math Building at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets. This event is free and open to the public.
Suttle will discuss the impact and importance of social relations on a person’s health. This program provides cultural insights, increases understanding of the world’s view of various cultural groups, and helps to develop skills and strategies for supporting, valuing, and leveraging diversity in the community. “Your village goes beyond race and gender, so start building today,” Suttle said.
Suttle is the Chairman and CEO of Leadership Success International, LLC, an international training company based in Atlanta, Georgia, that specializes in working with businesses and organizations to increase their profits and productivity through developing their people. Suttle earned his doctorate in Addiction Studies from International University for Graduate Studies and is a faculty member of SUCCESS University. He is the coauthor of several books.
As UTC celebrates 125 years since its founding, the University and the entire UT System also celebrates 50 years of African American achievement. Suttle’s presentation is part of the celebration. UTC will continue to sponsor events celebrating African American achievement through November of 2011.
