The UTC Department of Communication is proud to announce its 4th Annual Short Documentary Film Festival, featuring seven films made by UTC students this semester in COMM 4550 (Documentary Video Production) on Friday, May 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Raccoon Mountain Room in the UTC University Center. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
“Focusing on UTC and Chattanooga-related social justice issues, history, subcultures, and the music scene, the short documentaries showcased in this event are a powerful testament to what’s possible when students involve themselves deeply in community affairs and develop the visual storytelling skills needed to communicate what they discover,” Dr. Elizabeth Gailey, UTC Associate Professor of Communication, said.
