Celebrate the pride that comes from being a Moc as the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga celebrates I Love UTC Week.
From Monday through Sunday, April 1-7, students, faculty, staff and alumni can celebrate what sets our campus apart from the rest.
UTC Director of Stewardship and Donor Events Laura Cagle Snyder explained why she sees this week as a cause for celebration.
“This is a time to celebrate what makes UTC unique and special,” she said. “On an individual basis, all of us at UTC have personal stories about how our time at UTC has shaped us and why we have chosen to continue here.
“UTC meant something to me and made me something. Many of us share this story. The week is full of events and in-person engagement—and an opportunity for more passive engagement. I encourage everyone to reflect on your time at UTC and what made those memories special.”

KICKoff I Love UTC Week
When: 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Monday, April 1
Location: Chamberlain Field
UTC will kick off the week with a kickball game featuring students and faculty. Students who cannot participate are encouraged to spectate and cheer on their fellow Mocs.

UTC Family Feud
When: 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3
Location: University Center Auditorium
Students, faculty and staff who want to test their UTC knowledge can sign up to participate or join to watch the fun.

SGA Blue and Gold Awards
When: 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3
Location: University Center Tennessee Room
This “by invitation only” event will recognize outstanding achievements in leadership, service and academic excellence.

Spring Fling
When: 4–6 p.m. Thursday, April 4
Location: Chamberlain Field
This event is free to attend and will have games and interactive activities. Information about the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) alumni will be available.

Annual Scholarship Luncheon
When: 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday, April 5
Location: University Center Tennessee Room
This “by invitation only” event brings donors and student recipients together to honor student academic achievements as scholarship recipients.

Spring Family Day
When: Throughout the day Saturday, April 6
Location: Various locations
Multiple activity options will be available for parents and family members of UTC students on and off campus. Registration is required for both guests and UTC students attending this event.
