Kristina Montague has been named one of the 2013 Women of Distinction by the American Lung Association in Tennessee. Montague serves as UTC Assistant Dean of External Affairs for the UTC College of Business.
Montague will be one of ten women to be honored at the 28th Annual Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, April 30, at the Chattanooga Convention Center Ballroom.
The event, which benefits the American Lung Association in Tennessee, is a Chattanooga tradition that honors one Tennessee Woman of Distinction and ten of Chattanooga’s most accomplished women who have distinguished themselves within their family, career, and community. Three high school seniors, Young Women of Distinction, are also honored.
The Tennessee Woman of Distinction and Young Women of Distinction have not yet been announced.
Montague earned her Bachelor of Arts at Vassar College and the Master of Public Administration at the University of Washington.
She serves on: the Chattanooga Area Food Bank Board of Directors; Normal Park Education Fund Board of Directors; Creative Discovery Museum, Education Chair, Board of Directors and Chattanooga Theatre Centre, Nominating and Education Chair, Board of Directors.
