Saturday, May 25 – Time Trials – Enterprise South
Event venue is in front of the Volkswagen Chattanooga Assembly Plant. Spectators should enter from Volkswagen Drive off of I-75.
8:30 a.m. U.S. Handcycling Individual Time Trials
10 a.m. Professional Warm up
11 a.m. Women’s Individual Time Trials/Men to Follow
Cyclists go in one minute intervals to do 2 laps of a 9.6 mile course.
Monday, May 27 – Road Race – Downtown Chattanooga
The event venue centers around Miller Park, Miller Plaza and the EPB building. Spectators should enter the area from the west off of U.S. 27/M.L. King exit to Chestnut St. From the west, come at the venue from M.L. King, Central Ave. and Main St.
9 a.m. Women’s Road Race (63.1 Miles)
12:30 p.m. U.S. Handcycling Criterium (Multiple Laps of .7 mile course)
1:15 p.m. Men’s Road Race (100.6 Miles)

Erlanger Children’s Hospital Cycle for Miracles May 25
Amateur cyclists will ride the pro time trial course and help raise funds for the Erlanger Children’s Hospital Foundation. The event begins at 8 a.m.
Ladies Leisure Ride May 26
A leisurely, Ladies Only ride is scheduled beginning at 4:30 p.m., Miller Plaza with a slow tour of the North Shore, UTC and downtown Chattanooga on the Pro Cycling short course. To learn more, email or call Outdoor Chattanooga at (423) 643-6888.

Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day)
ON THE UTC CAMPUS:
A portion of the women’s and men’s races will run through campus during this daylong event. As a result, some campus parking lots will close the weekend before the race and streets will close the day of the race
On Friday, May 24 at 5 p.m., some campus lots will close until Monday, May 27 at 7 p.m.
The following lots will remain open. If you will be on campus that weekend, plan to move your car to one of these lots:
North Campus: Lots 20, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37
South Campus: Lots 38, 47, 47-1, 47-2, 47-3, and 49

Street closures will begin very early on Memorial Day—they will be closed on Monday, May 27 until 7 p.m. This means all the city streets affected must be clear of street parking. If vehicles remain parked on the streets below, they will be towed by the City of Chattanooga. Expenses could run as high as $500, so please prepare ahead.

All Cross Streets will be closed across S. Market St. from Frazier Ave. to Main St.

Ochs Highway – One Way UP Lookout Mountain
Scenic Highway – One Way DOWN Lookout Mountain
ALL DOWN BOUND TRAFFIC ON SCENIC HWY. WILL BE DIRECTED TO I-24.
CARTA WILL OPERATE A FREE SHUTTLE TO THE INCLINE, ROCK CITY AND RUBY FALLS FROM 8 A.M. TO 7 P.M. LEAVING FROM FINLEY STADIUM EVERY HALF AN HOUR. |
