Chattanooga’s source for National Public Radio is grateful to its listeners. WUTC-FM-88.1 completed its fall membership drive on Friday, October 11, with more than $125,000 pledged.
Many listeners chose to give a continuing monthly gift to help sustain their favorite shows. A small monthly gift is withdrawn from a credit card or bank account so that the listener provides a one-time gift that supports the radio station year-round, with no need to re-enroll each year.
“Our loyal listeners stay tuned to WUTC in the car, at the office, and at home on the weekend. They understand our quality programming comes at a price. We thank them for their support, and in turn, they’ve got a reliable source for news, entertainment and interesting music,” said Chuck Cantrell, Associate Vice Chancellor, Communication and Marketing.
WUTC operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be heard in analog and digital broadcast formats, plus streamed at wutc.org. It’s not too late to make a pledge at the radio station’s web site, wutc.org or call 423-425-4756.
