Lego League robotics competition draws interest
Members of UTC’s Center for Energy, Transportation and the Environment hosted hundreds of students from several Hamilton County schools for the 2009 First Lego League robotics competition. Students took a tour of the testing facility and learned about the research conducted there.
Music department presents faculty recital
Music instructor Clint Schmitt will perform Friday, January 22, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall of the UTC Fine Arts Center. The performance is part of the UTC Music Faculty Concert Series.
2010 Juried Student Art Exhibition Opens
Artwork created by UTC Department of Art students is now on display at the Cress Gallery of Art’s 2010 Annual Juried Art Exhibition. This year’s juror is Patrick DeGuira, an artist, curator, and educator from Nashville. He selected 43 works from 123 submissions. They include paintings, drawings, mixed media, graphic design, ceramics, and other media.
