The Southern Conference has announced its Academic All-Conference team for the 2009 fall season. A total of 25 Mocs, representing the fall sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball, earned recognition for their academic success.
Campus fired up to beat The Citadel
More than 500 students and fans attended the bonfire on historic Chamberlain Field in the heart of the UTC campus Wednesday night. It was a celebration held to “Get Fired Up to Beat The Citadel” in the football game set to kickoff at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, in Finley Stadium.

Blue and Gold covers downtown
The UTC athletics department and RiverCity Company recently teamed up to animate storefronts in downtown Chattanooga with UTC decorations. Over 40 downtown retailers, restaurants and businesses signed up and displayed their support for the Mocs during Blue and Gold Week.
