Dr. Benjamin Gross celebrates chemistry history at annual banquet
Dr. Benjamin Gross celebrated the renovation of Grote Hall and the 125th anniversary of the University by providing a pictorial history presentation at the 23rd Annual Department of Chemistry Awards Banquet. “Chemistry is part of that history,” Gross said. “There is much to celebrate in our heritage and performance.”

Dozens of faculty and students presented original research at the third annual UTC Research Celebration. Faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students presented research from a variety of fields, including athletic training, nursing, psychology, and education at the all-day celebration in the UTC University Center.

DiPietro supports UTC’s move into the top five
President Joe DiPietro told a group of Chattanooga community leaders he supports UTC as it aspires to build upon its success as an engaged metropolitan university and become one of the top five public master’s universities in the South. UTC is currently ranked in the top 20 graduate schools by U.S. News and World Report.

UTC School of Nursing organizes conference
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing presents “The Evolving Roles of Nursing in Today’s Health Care Environment” on consecutive Tuesdays beginning May 3, 10, and 17.
