Concert raises funds for UTC Veterans Entrepreneurship Program

Nashville-based band Here Come the Mummies brought their own special brand of funk to historic Engel Stadium for the second annual American Dream Concert. The event raised more than $6,000 for the Engel Foundation and the Veterans Entrepreneurship Program (VEP) at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s College of Business.

Vintage “Base Ball” comes to Engel Stadium

Built in 1930, Engel Stadium will play host to something even older than itself – vintage base ball. With vastly different rules, equipment, and terminology (even a different name, as opposed to the modern “baseball”) vintage base ball is equal parts historic reenactment and sporting event.

Mocs top 3.0 GPA for Spring 2014 semester

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department hit a major benchmark for the first time following the 2014 spring semester.  The Mocs student-athletes posted a school record 3.07 grade-point-average for the recently completed term, topping the 3.0 mark for the first time in program history.
