I always wish I could go back and tell my 18-year-old self the information to make my transition into college a little easier. So, with the help of UTC’s experts in creating the best student experience, I compiled a list of what you need to know to come prepared and ready to take on your first year.
Welcome to campus: UTC set to host Power C Tour, Blue and Gold Preview Day
The Power C Tour, a statewide outreach effort to prospective students on academic programs, admissions, housing, financial aid and campus life at UTC, arrives here on campus from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 8)—giving high school students, transfers, graduate students and their families a feel for UTC. On Saturday (Nov. 11), the Undergraduate Admissions Office will host its annual Blue and Gold Preview Day for prospective students and their families.

Before the start of orientation, a new batch of orientation leaders learned about the various departments at UTC and prepared for a hectic summer.

It’s orientation season: Summer at UTC means preparing for fall
The summer semester has officially begun, which means that University of Tennessee at Chattanooga faculty, staff and students are gearing up for the arrival of new students on campus in August. Freshman orientation begins on June 5 and continues until August. The two-day orientation sessions will provide incoming students with information and resources to begin their college journey.
