Ray Krone, the 100th person to be exonerated from death row in the U.S., will be the featured speaker on Monday, April 8 at 6 p.m. in the UTC University Center’s Raccoon Mountain Room.

Professor to discuss later start times for Hamilton County schools

Dr. Roger Thompson will address the need for later start times in Hamilton County middle and high schools when he addresses the Southeast Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth Legislative Breakfast on Friday, February 1.    The breakfast will be held at UTC.

Journalist to present human trafficking lecture February 29

“Slavery in the 21st Century, Human Trafficking:  A Global Shame” will be presented by Christine Dolan on Wednesday, February 29, 12 noon-2 p.m. at the UTC Fine Arts Center, Roland Hayes Concert Hall, located at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets.  Admission is free and the public is invited to attend this UTC Diversity Lecture Series event.
