Eric Turner, James Ashmore, Corey Bush and Usen Isong solved the age-old problem of keeping a washing machine from rocking on an uneven floor. They created a self-leveling device with shock-absorbing feet to fit under the washer. It can also be adjusted manually.

“We created the device for under $200,” said Turner. “In the title we mentioned it can self-level a washing machine, but there could be other uses for it.”
Turner said there is the possibility that the group could pursue a patent for the device.
“If we do pursue a patent, we would make the device out of aluminum instead of iron,” he said.
