Melody Leigh Dale, a junior Spanish major, was selected by The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) as the NSCS Scholar of the Week, a recognition program for NSCS. Members of this honor society must have a GPA of 3.4 or above and rank in the top 20 percent of their class.
In addition to NSCS, Dale is a member of the University Honors Program (UHON).
Dale volunteers in the UTC chapter of Habitat for Humanity. She speaks Spanish while engaging in local volunteer opportunities.
Her favorite activities involve music. She particularly enjoys sharing her love of music with others, through her church choir, the university orchestra/choir, and the volunteer string teaching program “String Project.”
