In cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education, the College of Engineering and Computer Science is offering a preparation course for Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from August 4-13, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in room 231 of the Engineering, Math, and Computer Science Building on the UTC campus.
When the PMP designation follows a professional’s name, it indicates to current and potential employers a solid foundation of project management knowledge that can be readily applied in the workplace.
Eligibility for the PMP certification requires first meeting specific education and experience requirements and an agreement to a code of professional conduct. Those granted PMP certification must demonstrate an ongoing professional commitment to the field of project management by satisfying continuing certification requirements.
