This event will be held from noon-1:45 p.m. at the Raccoon Mountain Room, UTC University Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Dr. John Friedl, J.D., will serve as moderator. Panelists include 2006 UTC Distinguished Alumnus Justice William M. Barker, J.D., Russell Fowler, J.D. and Thomas Greenholtz, J.D.
There will be a discussion of the confirmation hearings and attendant issues of Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States Sonia Sotomayor as well as the outlook for the federal courts under the Obama Administration.
