Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter, PLLC, recently sponsored a national conference trip for six UTC student members of the Beta Alpha Psi accounting and finance honor society.
Beta Alpha Psi members and College of Business students Andy Burnett, Samantha Cox, Melissa Duff, Cortney Edmonson, Patrick Greer, and Jessica Hudson represented UTC in Brooklyn, New York.
Students attended workshops on successful fundraising strategies and developing effective leaders. Additionally, they participated in a day of community service and, with assistance from other student chapters and the local KPMG office, helped renovate Red Hook Park in Brooklyn, New York.
