Ideas on how to make Chattanooga more livable will be explored in the “Take the Lead, Creating a Livable Chattanooga Region for All Ages” workshop to be held Thursday, May 6, 8-11:30 a.m. in the University Center Chattanooga Rooms.
Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield and a panel of organizations will discuss and plan how to create a more livable community for people of all ages. Building on last year’s “Aging in Place” conference, this workshop will report on important issues for livability and establish a basis for achieving even greater improvements.
The event is free and open to the public but space is limited. Continental breakfast will be served. RSVP by emailing fulgham_k@chattanooga.gov by Tuesday, May 4.
Take the Lead is presented by Mayor Ron Littlefield, Choose Chattanooga, Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities, Chattanooga Health and Performance Institute, Chattanooga Leadership Think Tank Roundtable, Leadership Chattanooga, Partners for a Livable Chattanooga, and The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
