Carl Henderson was selected as the 2010 Beta Alpha Psi Accountant of the Year by the Eta Kappa Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at UTC.
Henderson graduated with honors from Austin Peay State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a former IRS Revenue Agent and has often served as an expert witness on tax matters in Tennessee local and state courts as well as the U.S Bankruptcy Court and Tax Court.
Henderson joined Henderson Hutcherson & McCullough in 1981 and was admitted to partnership the following year. He specializes in income/estate/gift tax planning for individuals and succession planning for owners of closely held businesses.
Henderson’s professional and outside affiliations include the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, Chattanooga Area Tax Practitioners, Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, Siskin Foundation and Austin Peay State University Foundation.
