Dr. Joe DiPietro has been named President of The University of Tennessee.
“I am very pleased that Dr. Joe DiPietro will be our new president. He is extremely well-qualified and has a deep understanding of the University of Tennessee and higher education in Tennessee. He has a strong vision for moving the University of Tennessee forward and I believe he has an appreciation for the role UT Chattanooga plays in the overall UT system. I am confident he will be a great leader,” said Chancellor Roger Brown.
