SAC Angel Tree Program brings holiday cheer
The UTC Student Alumni Council worked in conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services (DCS) and encouraged students, faculty and staff to contribute more than 200 holiday gifts to more than 140 children who are enrolled in DCS programs.
Success of this year’s Angel Tree Program earned UTC the designation as the largest single provider of gifts to the program.
In 2009, UTC brought in the largest amount of gifts for the largest amount of children in the UTC program’s history.

Children’s Center adds holiday sparkle
Creative little hands from the UTC Children’s Center added a touch of blue and gold to the Founders Hall holiday tree. Administrators and staff helped add the festive decorations.

Faculty and staff enjoy Holiday Open House
Chancellor Roger Brown and his wife Dr. Carolyn Thompson hosted a Campus Holiday Open House for faculty and staff at the University Center. A musical performance was provided by UTC Children’s Center, Preschool and Pre-K.
