It’s time to roast the dogs—the Citadel Bulldogs—as we celebrate the season’s last home football game.
The 7th Annual UTC Bonfire will take place on Wednesday, November 11, on Oak Street overlooking the UTC Library. Mocs spirit will be burning bright as we bid a fond farewell to fall sports and kickoff our winter sports season.
Food and giveaways will begin at 6 in the Library plaza and the pep rally will kick off at 7 p.m as the bonfire ignites.
For Chuck Cantrell, Associate Vice Chancellor of Communication and Marketing, and also an alumnus, the bonfire offers a great chance for students to come together and support Mocs athletics.
“The bonfire is a great tradition that builds school spirit, celebrates athletics, and offers a fun time for everyone at UTC. Even though the event is only a few years old, we really want to keep alive and make it bigger and bigger every year, and we want students to participate and support our teams,” said Chuck Cantrell, UTC alumnus and Associate Vice Chancellor of Communication and Marketing.
So come out and support the Mocs and Get Fired Up!
