UTC Mathematics Professor Cuilan (Lani) Gao selected for UT CORNET Cancer Research award

Winners of the first UT CORNET Awards in Cancer Research for the University of Tennessee system, announced today, included Cuilan (Lani) Gao, PhD, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

UTC Introduces New “Kitten Room”

Multiple studies have proven that pet therapy is a valuable tool for productivity, relaxation and overall well-being. In light of this information the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is opening a “Kitten Room” in the library.

UTC hosts Lemonade Week examining Beyoncé’s visual album

UTC is embracing Beyoncé’s “visual album” Lemonade, using her thoughts along with Candice Benbow’s “Lemonade: The Syllabus” as jumping-off points to discuss issues raised on Lemonade, such as the lives, loves and pain of black women.

UTC offering regional tuition rate to freshman and sophomore students

Freshman and sophomore students from six counties in North Georgia and one in Alabama can now save thousands of dollars when they attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga through the advantage of UTC’s regional tuition rate. Participating students pay in-state tuition plus 25 percent of the out-of-state tuition. The new regional tuition rate for freshmen and sophomores goes into effect for student entering fall 2017.
