Advisement season is upon us. Whether you’re new to advising or a seasoned pro, here are a few tips or refreshers to help you navigate advising and registering for classes:
Finding your Advisor
Your academic advisor is listed on MyMocsNet under your Academic Profile on the Academics tab. No advisor listed? If you are a first year student, go here to find out more about who to contact to locate your advisor. If you aren’t a first year student, contact your academic department and request an advisor be assigned to you.
After locating your advisor, it is important that you email them early to schedule a time to meet. You won’t be able to register for classes without speaking with your advisor first.
