Although sexual violence has fallen by more than half since 1993, every 98 seconds another American is sexually assaulted.
Take Back the Night Chattanooga is an internationally recognized event that is a visible stand against sexual violence, specifically violence against women. Following a call to action, a march through the Historic Fort Wood District will commence to raise awareness about these issues in our community. There will be a candlelight vigil to remember those who have fallen from violence immediately following the march.
