Alexis Willis ’11 isn’t someone who backs down from a challenge. She told her mentor that, if an Ironman competition was ever held in Chattanooga, she would sign up.
The former high school track athlete was drawn to the idea of testing her limits. She wanted to know if she had what it takes to finish such a grueling race.
