On Sunday, March 3, as part of the annual Arbor Day celebration, UTC students, faculty and staff partnered with the City of Chattanooga Department of Public Works, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga and the Chattanooga Tree Commission to plant 43 redbud and hawthorne trees along Main Street in Chattanooga. For the past six years, UTC’s campus has been designated as a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.
