UTC sophomore Sarah McDarmont finished seventh in the nation in the Women’s Single Rower competition at the American Collegiate Rowing Association regatta. Held the weekend of May 24-26 on Lake Lanier outside Atlanta—the venue for the rowing competitions in the 1996 Olympics—she also achieved a milestone for the UTC Rowing Team, becoming the first entry the club has ever had in a varsity women’s event.
