Work on the Lupton Hall renovation will require a pedestrian detour throughout spring semester 2020. The section of concrete steps on Cardiac Hill between Brock and Lupton Halls is closed to allow the connection of Lupton Hall to the campus Central Energy Plant. The pedestrian detour loops around the west end of Brock Hall. The Crossroads dining facility will not be affected. The photos below show the blocked area from two angles.
I just love when campus blocks the most important walking paths that students need to use. I sure do love UTC project managers who come up with these lovely ideas. Thank you so much for ruining the last 2 years I have been on this campus it makes me so happy to be here.
