The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s new Elliott Davis Scholarship in Business will add scholarship funds to the Gary W. Rollins College of Business.
“Through the generous support of Elliott Davis, we are able to create this scholarship, which will give more students an opportunity to fund their business education in Chattanooga,” said UTC Chancellor Steve Angle. “Elliott Davis is a strong supporter of our University and, with this partnership, they continue to make a difference in the lives of our students.”
The Elliott Davis Scholarship in Business was launched at a reception on campus today. Guests included Angle, Elliott Davis CEO Rick Davis, Rollins College of Business Dean Robert Dooley and other leaders from the University, UC foundation and Elliott Davis in Chattanooga.
“Elliott Davis is committed to supporting the work of UTC and celebrating what this institution has meant to Chattanooga, and to our firm,” said Elliott Davis CEO Rick Davis. “We believe that good business is about more than just doing business in Chattanooga; it’s about supporting the organizations who make this community a great place to live and work. UTC’s role in workforce development has been integral to the growth of our firm, and this scholarship is created in recognition of their work.”
“The Rollins College of Business benefits from our partnership with Elliott Davis in Chattanooga through their participation in our mentoring and internship programs,” Dooley said. “This scholarship adds to their support and increases their impact on our business students and the future workforce of Chattanooga.”
