On Saturday, March 28, the UTC Parent and Family Association will host the event both on campus and at nearby Frost Stadium in Warner Park. It is open to all UTC families, but registration is required.
“Spring Family Day is an opportunity for us to demonstrate the value we place on family involvement. They are a key ally in the work we do to encourage student growth and development,” says Emelia Dunston, associate dean in the Dean of Students office.
“We see this event as an opportunity for us to reconnect with our families and make sure they feel well-informed and supported as they continue to guide their student through the collegiate experience.”
Plus, you’ll get a chance to catch Chattanooga Softball, the 2019 Southern Conference Softball Tournament Champions,
The day includes a picnic, classes to create desserts and painting masterpieces and take part in fun chemistry experiments (closed-toed shoes required). It also includes the 2019 Southern Conference Softball Tournament Champions where the Mocs play East Tennessee State University at Frost Stadium.
“For our families, Spring Family Day is an opportunity to spend time with their student and get a snapshot of the UTC experience all in one day,” Dunston says.
