Assisted living facilities in Hamilton County are severely hit by COVID-19. In the county, there are 294 active cases for residents in the 16 homes, which house more than 1,600 people, according to the Times Free Press. Data published Nov. 25 from the Tennessee Department of Health show 207 cases among staff members, the paper says.
