The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s UTC Road Trip: The Power C Tour kicked off in the Nashville area on Thursday, Nov. 3. The event at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs is part of a statewide outreach effort to prospective students on academic programs, housing options, financial aid and campus life at UTC.
UTC Road Trip: The Power C Tour will feature presentations, information booths, light refreshments and prizes. Among the prizes students will have the opportunity to win are:
- Two $1,000 Power C scholarships
- Two $500 housing stipends
- Orientation registration discounts
- UTC-themed prizes and gear
In addition, prospective students will be able to receive an admissions decision at the event. Qualified high seniors who meet admissions requirements (2.85 GPA with an 18 ACT or a 2.5 GPA with a 21 ACT) can get admitted in a “Moc Minute” on the spot that night for free. To participate in Moc Minute, students must complete and submit an online application at https://www.utc.edu/apply at least 48 hours before the event and bring their high school transcripts to the event.
