Join the Block Party
The game starts at 7 p.m., but the fun starts at 5 p.m. as Chestnut Street is turned into the inaugural Mocs Block. There will be a free concert by country music’s newest star Dylan Scott, along with free T-shirts, food and games.
Freshmen… Join the Mocs Flock!
While you’re at the block party, you can sign up to be part of the Mocs Flock, which will run onto the field at the beginning of the game. You’ll get a special Mocs Flock T-shirt. If you’re one of the first 200 to sign up, you’ll earn a pair of Power C socks. Everyone who participates will be entered into a drawing to win a special Power C Yeti Cooler.
If you want to be part of the first “Flock” – register between 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. at the UTC First Year Experience/Housing tailgate location at the block party. At 6:30 p.m., Flock participants will be directed to a designated gathering spot to prepare for the big run-in just before kickoff.
After the Mocs Flock joins the team on the field, students can head into the stands to cheer the Mocs on to victory!
Ride the Mocs Express to the game!
Ride the Mocs Express shuttle to Finley Stadium to catch all of the fun without the hassles of parking.
All students riding the shuttle from 4:30-6 p.m. on September 1 will receive a free T-shirt.
