Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, join the Parade of Flags, and help plan events for Black History Month with free food and live music. WE Retreat:
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will be hosting its fourth Women of Excellence (WE) Leadership Retreat. The WE Retreat is designed to empower, embrace, and exemplify young women by focusing on health, finance, education, leadership, and image. As a Peer Facilitator you are expected to be hands on, flexible, and understanding throughout this journey.
In order to participate, Peer Facilitators must be in attendance during all the dates below:

- Monday, September 26, 2016- Participant Interest Meeting, Multicultural Center, 8:00 P.M.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites any faculty, staff, student, and student organization to join us in planning for Black History Month 2017. The purpose of this planning committee is to:
- Create a master calendar of all events on campus for Black History Month
- Plan a few committee specific programs as needed
- Market the events to the broader UTC community
- Connect faculty, staff, students, and student organizations who may have similar program ideas

International Festival (Parade of Flags)

We are looking for more students to participate in the Parade of Flags during International Festival. Participants must be available on the day and time below. Participate and represent your home country and heritage!
Free food! Performances! Giveaways!
Students who are interested should email the Office of Multicultural Affairs at mcc@utc.edu with your name, cell phone number, and the country you would like to hold the flag for.
We are specifically looking for students from the following countries: India, Honduras, Nigeria, Tanzania, Pakistan, Canada, Australia, France, Scotland, Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Sweden, Spain, El Salvador, South Korea, Sudan, Thailand, Puerto Rico, Belgium, South Africa, Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico and Guatemala.
