Advisement season is upon us. Whether you’re new to advising or a seasoned pro, here are a few tips or refreshers to help you navigate advising and registering for next semester’s classes:
Finding your Advisor
Your academic advisor is listed on MyMocsNet under your Academic Profile on the Academics tab. No advisor listed? If you are a first year student, go here to find out more about who to contact to locate your advisor. If you aren’t a first year student, contact your academic department and request for an advisor to be assigned to you.
After locating your advisor, it is important that you email your advisor early to schedule a time to meet. You won’t be able to register for classes without speaking with your advisor first.
Registering for Classes
