In a proclamation given to her by Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke, UTC student Caroline Rabiner was honored on Wednesday, April 10, for her advocacy work on behalf of the on-campus student organization Save the Children Action Network. A senior in political science who is graduating in May, Rabiner is one of the original Student Ambassadors for the network, which focuses on early children education and protecting children from violence, hunger and other avoidable situations. “She sought to inform students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on why quality early childhood education and ending preventable death of moms and kids around the world was important,” part of the proclamation read.
