The Center for Professional Education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will be honored at the 2019 national Marketing and Enrollment Management Seminar of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA).
Founded in 1915, UPCEA describes itself as the leading association for professional, continuing and online education and serves leading public and private colleges and universities throughout North America.
Awards will be presented at the December conference, and officials have notified the Center for Professional Education (CPE) of four honors earned for the redesign of its website and for promotion of the 2019 summer training workshop for high school teachers of advanced placement courses organized and hosted in Chattanooga by CPE.
“Through creativity, dedication and hard work, CPE and UTC Communications and Marketing bring the participant experience to life,” said John Freeze, CPE director. “We are grateful for the national recognition from UPCEA and will continue sharing our participants’ success in new and meaningful ways.”
Hundreds of entries from across the country compete in 25 award categories across divisions that include print publications, print advertising, outdoor/exhibit signage, interactive media and more.
UTC’s CPE is a silver award winner in the mixed media campaign category for its 2019 Chattanooga AP Summer Institute marketing campaign and in the most improved category for the CPE website refresh. CPE is a bronze award winner in the streaming/on-demand content category and in the postcard category for its 2019 Chattanooga AP Summer Institute welcome video and promotional postcard.
The award-winning work was produced by the UTC Division of Communications and Marketing in collaboration with and at the request of CPE leadership.
Award recipients will be honored at a luncheon event at the national conference in New Orleans in December.
