The Student Advancement Council has kicked off its 2019 Holiday Angels campaign. Through Friday, Nov. 8, stop by the Angels table in the University Center to sign up and sponsor a child. The table is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. daily.
Last year, our university provided gifts for over 100 children last year. Help us continue to brighten the holidays for children and families in our community by making this year our best yet.
All gifts should be dropped off at the Alumni House, located at 551 Oak St. (at the corner of Oak and Douglas streets), by Monday, Nov. 25.
- When you pick a name, you are responsible to buy a gift(s) for that child. However, there is no limit to the number of names you can choose.
- Each gift must be gift-wrapped with the child’s name and code on it. If there are multiple gifts for a child, all the gifts must be attached or placed together in a bag with the child’s name and code on each gift.
- Students, faculty, staff and organizations are welcome to participate on an individual basis or as a group.
- If you cannot sponsor a child this year, a monetary donation toward the Holiday Angels campaign in any amount or a generic gift would be greatly appreciated. Please drop off monetary donations to the Alumni House. Make checks payable to “Partnership for Families, Children and Adults.”
Holiday Angel cards also may be picked up at the Alumni House during normal office hours through Friday, Nov. 22. For more information, call (423) 425-4906.
