The iLead program developed by Bridge Consulting International in partnership with the UTC College of Business and the Hunter Museum will hold its 2010 seminar series on September 16 and October 21 at the Hunter Museum of American Art.
The two-day program is designed to help business professionals improve their leadership skills.
Business experts will use the visual arts to help participants identify and improve their team building and communication skills.
Day one will focus on “The Leader and The Team” and day two will focus on “The Idea and The Do.” Activities will include self reflection assessment and communications styles, learning journal reflection and action planning.
Faculty members from the UTC College of Business will engage in the iLead Leadership Networking Reception at the end of each day. They will cover topics such as leading high-performance teams, creating motivating workplace environments and delivering successful outcomes.
The iLead Leadership Networking Reception on September 16 will feature a lecture entitled “Knowledge Use and Learning in New Product Development Teams” by Beverly K. Brockman, Ph.D., associate professor of marketing and entrepreneurship at UTC’s College of Business. Lisa A. Burke, Ph.D. SPHR, professor in the department of management at UTC’s College of Business will present “Decision Making in the 21st Century” on October 21.
