G.I. Jobs magazine has named UTC as a Military Friendly School for 2011, an honor that puts the University in the top 15 percent of all colleges, universities, and trade schools nationwide.
“The U.S Army ROTC program has enjoyed tremendous support from the faculty and staff of UTC. The University offers an unparalleled positive environment in which to learn, work, and grow,” said MAJ John M. Brauneis, Asst. Professor of Military Science.
G.I. Jobs will include UTC in its 2011 Guide to Military Friendly Schools, scheduled to be published this month, September 2010. An online list is also accessible at http://www.gijobs.com/
“This honor recognizes the University’s efforts to recruit and assist our service men and women begin or continue their education,” said Chancellor Roger Brown.
UTC has received a plaque to commemorate the distinction.
