Nearly 900 Mocs fans attended a pregame bonfire celebration to “Get Fired Up to Beat Samford.”
Power 94 provided music and there were giveaways from the Mocs Express train as excitement builds for a big win at the next home game on Saturday, November 13, 2 p.m., Finley Stadium.
Chattanooga is in the middle of one of its most successful seasons in recent memory. The Mocs were riding a five-game winning streak and ranked as high as No. 20 in the nation before falling to Elon 49-35. UTC is working to secure back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in almost 20 years.
The bonfire event was sponsored by the UTC Student Government Association. East Brainerd Lumber Company donated the lumber, and the Chattanooga Fire Department helped build the structure and ensure safety.
