UTC College of Business Dean Richard Casavant is pleased to announce that Lisa Pinckney Flint was recently appointed Assistant Dean for the College of Business at UTC.
Flint is responsible for integrating the College’s communications, fundraising, career services, and alumni relations functions to enhance the overall image and reputation of UTC and the College of Business.
“Lisa is a talented individual whose service enhances the effectiveness of the College of Business for students and the community,” Dr. Casavant said.
Flint received the M.B.A from UTC. She earned the B.S. in Business Systems with a concentration in Production/Operations Management from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
Nominated to participate in Leadership Chattanooga, Flint engaged in the 10-month Chattanooga Chamber Foundation program that identifies people of promise in early- or mid-career, familiarizes them with community issues and services and develops their leadership skills to prepare them for prominent business, cultural and political roles. Flint is a graduate of the 2002-2003 class. She has served as a member of the Chattanooga Arts and Education Council and on the Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga Public Art Committee.
Flint began her career at UTC in 1999 after working for Turner Broadcasting System in Atlanta, Georgia, as Marketing Manager. She has held positions in the UTC College of Business since 2000, when she was appointed Director of Graduate Programs, College of Business and later Director of External Affairs, College of Business.
