October 31–A campus-wide Mocs-style amazing race scavenger hunt will begin in Benwood Auditorium, beginning at 10 p.m. Games include: a coffin race up cardiac hill, worst makeover contest, and frozen t-shirts. Students will be eligible to win Ninetendo Wii gaming consoles, Raleigh Bicycles, DVD Recorder, $100 Walmart gift cards, and a Digital Camera in a raffle drawing by attending these events. According to Katie O’Bryan, Health Educator of Counseling and Career Planning Center, Fright Fest is a fun way to keep students safe, a priority on the UTC campus.
“At UTC, we approach underage and high risk drinking proactively by providing alternative social events,” O’Bryan said.
