The UTC Department of Art Senior Thesis Exhibition Group 2 will open Tuesday evening, April 14, with a public reception from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. This exhibition will be run though April 24. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Students in their final semester of the UTC Bachelor of Fine Arts professional programs are currently placing the finishing touches on their installations as this exhibition is shaping to be another stellar event,” said Ruth Grover, Director and Curator of the Cress Gallery of Art.
Students in Group 2 include Graphic Design majors Kimberly Flynn, Blake Hampton, Michael Mahaffey, Tenley Mayfield, Tracey Moore, Stephanie Tate, and Jessi Taylor; Painting and Drawing program majors Tom Shaw and McKinley Bryson; and 3-D Studio major Jean Pitts.
The Cress Gallery is located in the lobby of the UTC Fine Arts Center at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets. Visitors may obtain a parking pass by visiting Parking Services located in the Facilities Building on Palmetto Street. Parking is free in any UTC lot after 5 p.m.
