Chancellor Roger Brown invites the campus, alumni and friends of the University to come together for Convocation on September 4, at 5:30 p.m. in the University Center auditorium.
Brown will make brief remarks, followed by a joint presentation on student retention by Dr. Phil Oldham, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and Dr. John Delaney, Vice Chancellor for Student Development.
“Both Dr. Oldham and Dr. Delaney are new to UTC and bring fresh ideas to the campus. Improving retention is a critical element in our enrollment management strategy and will require the efforts of the entire campus,” said Brown.
Following the presentations, a reception will be held in the Chattanooga Room to celebrate convocation and to welcome Oldham, Delaney and their families to the University.
