At the Annual Meeting and Campaign Celebration, United Way of Greater Chattanooga announced that UTC won the United Way Leadership Award for 2008.
Housing and Residence Life to honor Scholars in Residence
More than 950 students who live in UTC housing and have been named to the Dean’s List will be recognized during the 19th Annual Scholars in Residence awards ceremony on Monday, February 16, in the University Center, Tennessee Room at 4 p.m.

Students and faculty from the Department of Chemistry participated in the SouthEastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS) held recently in Nashville. Dr. Edwin P. Foster Receives ASCE Award
Dr. Edwin P. Foster, Professor of Civil Engineering at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, received the Peter G. Hoadley Award for Outstanding Engineering Educator at the annual meeting of the Tennessee Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
