We should all be proud of the progress we have made on the UTC Strategic Plan that was launched in 2015. Professors and students featured in poetry collection, The Heart’s Many Doors
UTNAA Distinguished Professor of English Dr. Richard Jackson, with UTC alumni and current students, as well as distinguished American poets, recently teamed up to produce The Heart’s Many Doors. The collaborative effort features poems by American poets responding to prints by Slovene artist Metka Krasovec.
Beat Hunger, the Holiday Season kick-off is back
The Campus favorite, Beat Hunger, will be held only once this year, on Monday, November 21, at 7:30 P.M. in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall, Fine Arts Center. As usual, admission is only a $2 check donation to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen or two non-perishable food items.

UTC and Motlow State pen honors transfer agreement
Representatives from Motlow State Community College and UTC recently signed an articulation agreement allowing Motlow State’s Honors Program students to transfer seamlessly into the UTC Honors College’s Innovations in Honors program.
Musicians raise awareness for music in therapy with Chamber Music for Body and Soul IV
Several leading regional musical organizations will combine their talents in a concert on November 18. The concert featuring UTC faculty is designed to educate and entertain the audience on the positive therapeutic outcomes for motor, speech, and cognitive challenges utilizing music as a direct conduit into the brain.
Theatre Co. presents Hay Fever, the ultimate family holiday gone wrong
Join the UTC Theatre Company as they present Hay Fever in the Dorothy Hackett Ward Theatre, UTC Fine Arts Center. The show will run November 15-19 at 7:30 P.M. with an additional 2 P.M. matinee Saturday, on November 19.
