After hearing four clients and program coordinator Elaine Kelly from Hamilton County Drug Court speak in Gary Behler’s criminal justice class in spring semester, a group of compassionate students decided to take action. Drug Court allows drug addicts to work towards sobriety instead of facing a jail sentence.

National Society of Colonial Dames awards scholarship
UTC senior and history major Mary Meaghan Kelly will receive this year’s prestigious Tennessee Chapter of the National Society of Colonial Dames scholarship for graduate study. The Colonial Dames rotates the award among Tennessee undergraduate institutions. This year UTC’s Mary Meaghan Kelly was selected by her faculty to be so honored.
First ROTC commissioned officer graduates
