English faculty makes 14th century poem accessible

Lecture: the life and work of Emma Bell Miles
The English department presents a lecture on Emma Bell Miles: Cultural Interpreter for Appalachia, on Monday, April 5, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the University Center Raccoon Mountain Room. Miles, a poet, writer, and artist, lived on Signal Mountain, Tennessee, in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This event is free and open to the public.
